Hail Oldport Launch on VHF 68 and ask to be picked up from the Elm St. Pier (corner of Washington & Elm). Launch service runs from the Elm St. Pier every hour on the bottom of the hour. However, you must radio them to let them know you will be there as it is not scheduled service. It is best to let them know 10-15 minutes in advance. The launch fee is $4/person each way. Fuel Policy- Renters are responsible for the fuel consumed. Renters are not to re-fuel the boat unless approved to do so. Instead, renters will reimburse the owner for fuel consumed based on a 4.5 gallon per hour consumption rate and a fixed fuel price of $5.99 per gallon. The engine hour meter will be the clock and the renter will be responsible for fuel based on the number of hours (whole or parts rounded to the nearest tenth of an hour) the renter puts on the engine. For example, if the engine meter reads 1000 hours at the beginning of the rental and the renter returns it with 1005 hours, the renter will reimburse the owner for 22.5 gallons of fuel at a price of $5.99 for a total of $134.78. This reimbursement is in addition to the rental price. Damage Policy- The renter is responsible for all damage during the rental, including damage caused by others. The renter is also responsible for replacing the boat should there be a deficiency in an insurance payment. Insurance- Renters are responsible for obtaining additional insurance if they feel Cruzin's is insufficient. Owner limit's liability to the value of the vessel.
