Bonfires in the Bahamas at the Guy Harvey Outpost – Boatsetters, it’s going to be epic!
Boatsetter is proud to be a part of an amazing event taking place in Old Bahama Bay in the West End this month (June 25-28). This three day event includes fishing and fun in the ocean with the scenic backdrop of the beautiful Bahamas and the popular Guy Harvey Outpost. This three-day Beach Bash celebration is co-hosted by Loggerhead® Marina, the major tournament and awards dinner sponsor. Over 30 boats are entered into the fishing tournament which offers some amazing cash and gifts to winners of categories for wahoo, tuna, dolphin and kingfish as well as a special category for billfish. A much anticipated appearance from legendary angler Billy Black, who has spent 30 years as a charter captain at Walker’s Cay from 1977 to 2004 will be of interest to fishing aficionados who know that he holds many of the Bahamian record catches for Blue Marlin, White Marlin, Bluefin Tuna, Yellowfin Tuna, Dolphin, Wahoo and Sailfish. In addition to some serious fishing fun, Artist, Bobby Little has created a unique sculpture with an ocean theme – inspired by the local flavor of the Bahamas and created solely from recycled materials. For the epic West End Event, Bobby Little features a majestic Wahoo sculpture that will be on display near the Guy Harvey Outpost. Bobby Little coupled with the support of the Guy Harvey Outpost are raising awareness for the need to respect the world’s oceans.
