Only tack when wind is over 12 knots. Jibing in anything except light wind is totally prohibited. Never step off a boat without two dock lines in hand or three dock lines secured. Always use a boat hook to pick up fixed lines. Always have a hand on tiller when underway in harbor. If leaving tiller autohelm is engaged or transmission is in neutral and no obstacles are proximate. Always flush and cycle head irregardless of use at the conclusion of every sail. Empty holding tank every time boat is three miles out. Empty Porta Head immediately after every use. Use conservative amount of head treatment and 5 drops or less of head lubricant to treat head. Always leave boat tied fast to dock with a minimum of 4 snug lines devoid of slack. Always pull a boat by dock lines or toe rail and never life lines or stancheons. Always push a boat by toe rail and never life lines or stancheons or pulpits. Always fill a water tank when it empties. Always lead dock lines through fairleads and never over to rail. Always raise and lower main sail in irons, with wind straight ahead. Always reef or furl sail in wind over 15 kts (22') or 18 kts (32.') Wash deck at conclusion of every sail when docked. Bird string at conclusion of every sail when moored bow to stern 5 lengths port to starboard. Group text all maintenance items to CEO 831-372-7245 and Engineer Floyd 831-521-2140 Vice President Takoda 831-595-7245while underway. Verbal maintenance reports are unacceptable. Always raise sail by hand until past lazy jacks. UNDERWAY Always sail with fenders on deck, preferably pulling them as soon as boat drifts off dock and before getting underway.
