The boat

Discover eastern Long Island on board a spacious cruiser. This Gemini has a Queen size master cabin and two double aft cabins. Also an expansive interior with a dinette that can sit 6 guests. There is a double-sided galley and a 4-cubic foot front-loaded refrigerator. A swing hammock off the stern and fast, level exhilarating sailing keeps everyone comfortable. The boat is ready to sail and price includes basic start-up supplies. Start your trip in Southampton. Visit Sag Harbor, Greenport and Montauk or drop the hook in quiet natural bays in East Hampton or Orient. The boat is outfitted with everything you will need, including an inflatable dinghy and kayak; just bring linens, water and food.

Minimum charter booking is 4-days.

On first time charters please allow time to review the boat systems and perform a checkride. I would allow 3-5 hours for this process on the first day of your charter.

If you need to leave early the morning of your first charter we can schedule a checkout on another date for an additional $399.00.

After a successful first charter we would consider 2-day charters on a short term as available basis.

A life long sailor and recreational fisherman from eastern Long Island residing on the Great Peconic Bay. I have over 40years experience on both power and sail on Eastern Long Island, Rhode Island and Cape Cod. I am a member of the USPS and an active fixed wing aircraft pilot with the USCG Auxiliary. I have owned catamarans since the 1970's and currently own a Hobie 18' , a 25'SeaCat twin engine power cat center console sport fishing, and a new Gemini 105Mc. I have sailed, raced and cruised Gemini Cats since 1990 when I purchased the original "FatCat" hull 136. I raised four children sailing this boat during summer vacations. I am also the owner of FatCat Multihulls, a NYS new boat dealer specializing in Gemini Catamarans. The sailboat is great for family or friends. The shallow draft allows access to many areas that would be off limits to other boats. The design is fast, about 30 percent more than a comparable monohull. The cat sails with less than 5 degrees resulting in a very comfortable sail. The boat offers a 360 degree water view at any anchorage. The fishing boat is great for the day. Although we mainly fish, clam and ski in the bay she is designed to run offshore with outriggers, an insulated built in six ft. fish box for gamefish as well as a live bait well. We are kid and pet friendly. Actually all around friendly. We would love to check you out and get you ready to enjoy the great outdoors of eastern Long Island.
