OffShore is an awesome boat regardless of what you would like to do!
She is very seaworthy as she has proven to me on the Pacific, performs very well under sail on all courses, motors at trawler speeds at a fraction of the fuel cost and can easily be handled by the skipper alone in just about any situation.
OffShore will keep you comfy! An Espar Hydronic diesel furnace heats cabins and water around the clock. Flip the switch and set the thermostat to your liking, just like at home. Heat is quiet at night - fore and aft cabins have radiators so fans don't need to run. I love taking OffShore into the San Juans over New Years. Frost on decks with snowy mountain views while its toasty below. At night light the oil lamps, get cozy and enjoy some of the many movies on the board computer and wall-mounted flat panel TV!
Safety is paramount on OffShore. With Radar, Class B AIS transponder, a powerful engine with automatic fire extinguishing system, smoke and CO detectors throughout, a quickly launched 9' Achilles RIB dinghy on the transom and 300' chain on a Fortress anchor that has yet to drag, she has you covered in any situation. Life vests are onboard for 8 adults and 2 kids. For larger parties please bring additional vests or coordinate with us. A permanently mounted Lifesling 3 and a floating throw line facilitate rescue operations.
OffShore can happily mozy along covering distance to the fantastic PNW cruising grounds and is fun day sailing in the Puget Sound. Furling main and jib, four 2-speed Harken winches and lines run into the cockpit make short handed sailing a breeze - pun intended. Avid skippers can fly the asymmetric spinnaker on downwind courses.
A complete set of Raymarine electronics provides every imaginable data about your trip and will keep the most demanding skipper well informed. If electronics aren't your cup of tea, just turn them off and sail by the seat of your pants.
Below decks OffShore boasts two private staterooms with separate heads, each with a shower, a roomy salon with panoramic windows, widescreen flat panel TV, stereo, navigation and multimedia board computer, dimmable power LED or oil lamp lighting, a galley with fridge, freezer, 2-burner Propane stove and oven, and a pantry large enough for weeks of provisions make OffShore what we call 'a floating home'.
You will miss nothing... until your cruise ends! Well, I'd love to have you back.
