Sunshine Marine Rental is licensed by the Miami-Dade County. Our staff is completely trained and certified by the FWC and certified STCW Basic Safety Training, First Aid, Personal Survival Techniques, Fire Prevention, Personal Safety and Social Responsibility, Security Awareness.



State law requires a person to be at least 18 years old to rent a jet ski. State law dictates a minimum operation age of 14 years old to drive a jet ski. State law does not set a restriction on the minimum age of passengers.



State law requires anyone born on or after January 1, 1988, who operates a vessel powered by 10 horsepower or more must pass an approved boater safety course and have in his/her possession photographic identification and a boating safety education identification card issued by the FWC. The boating permit can be obtained for free online.

This boat belongs to a Commercial Owner, an independent boat rental company. A Commercial Owner is an independent, Boatsetter-approved boat rental company who provides their own insurance to their guests.

A security deposit hold (not a charge) will be placed on your credit card 48 hours before your booking starts to cover any incidental damage that may occur during your rental. This hold is released 48 hours after the booking is complete, if no claims are made. The security deposit amount for the boat you are booking will be outlined during the check-out process.

If requested, the owner can provide a list of available captains for bareboat charter or the renter can use their own qualified captain. If the boat is being time chartered, the owner will provide the Captain.
