The boat

The 240 Bay Scout is a large bay boat set up well for inshore fishing. While the hull was constructed in 2005, the engine was purchased new in July 2020. The boat is perfect for fishing the bay and the beach or cruising to the local sandbar.



Boaters can bring their own food and beverages and take advantage of the yeti on board. The boat is also dog-friendly. The vessel can hold 6 passengers plus the captain but it is not recommended for 6 adults unless the sand bar is the desired destination.



I provide bait, tackle, rods, reels, fishing licenses, a cooler with ice, and bottled waters. I suggest bringing food, drinks, sunscreen, hat, sunglasses, camera, and cell phone.



I am willing to pick up customers in the Sarasota area from any hotel or residence with waterfront access.

This boat belongs to a Commercial Owner, an independent boat rental company. A Commercial Owner is an independent, Boatsetter-approved boat rental company who provides their own insurance to their guests.

A security deposit hold (not a charge) will be placed on your credit card 48 hours before your booking starts to cover any incidental damage that may occur during your rental. This hold is released 48 hours after the booking is complete, if no claims are made. The security deposit amount for the boat you are booking will be outlined during the check-out process.
