Manu-o-Kū (white or fairy tern) is a native Hawaiian seabird found primarily in Honolulu. Ancient Hawaiian's used the Manu-o-ku as an indication that land was closeby. The bird flies out to sea at dawn and then back to feed its keiki at dusk.
When you're out on the Manu-o-Kū, you're virtually guaranteed to see its namesake plying the island waters for kaukau to feed its chicks back on the island.
