Nice old school sailboat without a lot of bells and whistles to distract you from enjoying the beautiful San Francisco Bay.
I purchased this gem of a boat in April 2018. To my knowledge, it has been sitting at the dock for several years by the previous owners. The boat has been a work in progress ever since. So far, my completed projects consist of:
Completely took out all the old copper wiring and rewired the entire boat with 16 gauge marine grade, pre-tinned along its entire length. Along with the new deep cycle marine battery and battery box, the boat has a new-fused six-switched control panel that control the running lights, anchor light, steaming/deck light, new Wiring harness inside the mast to a 4-pin deck connector to the cabin. The cabin lights and bilge pump is new. To complete the electrical system I added a new 30-watt solar panel with Renogy Voyager - 20A PWM waterproof Solar Charge Controller and 1100 Watt 12 Volt DC to 110 Volt AC Power Inverter. The VHF Radio is Uniden Handheld Two-Way Floating VHF Marine Radio.
On the bow of the boat, I installed a new bow roller and Danforth S-920 Standard Anchor with 4ft of chain and 100 ft of solid braid MFP anchor line with thimble
The boat also have a new Windex with Tell-Tales and tilt gauge that Monitors tilt from -45 to 45 degrees. New outhaul for the mainsail.
Wavefront tiller clutch.
Replaced the outboard motor kicker bracket.
New Carburetor Repair Kit, with float. I also purchased and installed a 6-gallon fuel tank and fuel line & fuel filter. (1998 Johnson HJ6FRLECA 6hp Outboard Motor Runs Strong)
