The Wakesetter VLX is, quite simply, one of the best hulls on the market. World Class wake boarding and surfing wakes.
Tricked out with perfect pass, surf gate, power wedge, and 2900 lbs of available ballast above the stock 1250lbs. Stock ballast is 200 under floor in the rear lockers, 500 midship, and 350 under floor bow tank. In addition, there are 900lb sumo sacks in each rear locker and an 1100 prox bag that can be used up front.
You can wakeboard, wakesurf, wakeskate, ski, tubing or simply relax and party at our local petite lake sandbar in one of the best looking and performing boats on the chain.
Listen to music both on the boat and while surfing with the 9 Speaker (8 + 1 12" subwoofer) amped in boat speakers and 4 tower speakers.
You can either come to the chain of lakes (fox lake) or I can deliver and drive where you want for an additional fee. If you want to wakeboard, earlier and during the week is better to avoid traffic and get that glass. Surfing doesn't matter as much.
Fuel consumption is an estimate. More ballast and surfing = higher consumption.
Only renters with inboard experience will be allowed to rent bareboat. Captain will be required if the renter doesn't have enough experience. I can provide direction on captains or my rate is $125/250 for half/full day.

I have been boating for my entire life, long as I can remember. I have owned my own boat for about 15 years, started with a 17.5' Smokercraft fish and ski that I got from my dad, Moved to a 92 Sunsport 21 quickly as I had caught the wake and surf bug. First year I bought the supra, I put on over 400 hours. Yes this means I rode every day with a large crew that was just as passionate as I was. Kept that boat for a few years, moved to Illinois and bought my '05 Malibu VLX. Put on a decent amount of hours but the arrival of twins put a serious limit on my water time. Fast forward to this year, I just sold the '05 and now have this shiny new '13 Malibu VLX. There is no large crew as there was in college and I may not be quite as spry or adventurous on the board as I once was (Injuries happen and I can't risk as much with twins) but I have an extensive body of knowledge (9 Years of inboard ownership) and have brought many people into the world of wakeboarding and watersports in general. I drive for wake the world, bringing watersports to underprivileged kids. I am available near every day to show you what the lake life can be.

Cancellation policy moderate
- Free cancellations until 5 days before the booking start time.
- 50% refund for cancellations between 3-5 days before the booking start time.
- Cancellations within 2 days of the booking start time are non-refundable.
Security deposit
A security deposit hold (not a charge) will be placed on your credit card 48 hours before your booking starts to cover any incidental damage that may occur during your rental. This hold is released 48 hours after the booking is complete, if no claims are made. The security deposit amount for the boat you are booking will be outlined during the check-out process.
