The boat
The Monterey 224FS is a smooth, comfortable, quite, easy ride within the canals of Fort Lauderdale, FL. It easily seats 6 max. Since it is a 2014, the boat has current standard features. It also has a depth finder, dive platform w ladder, fresh water wash down, cooler and Bimini shade.
The boat is great for cruising, dinning, site seeing, swimming and snorkeling. Part of the orientation package will include list, descriptions and information on these activities.
It is located on Rio Barcelona, with easy access to all the local restaurants, intercostal waterway (ICW), canals, historical homes, and numerous mega yachts.
Local intercostal use only.
The normal renting period for half a day is 4 hours, a full day is 8 hrs.
There will be an extra charge for time over the agreed rental period.
The rental cost does not include the following;
Fuel, must be non-ethanol and must be returned full. An alternative to looking for fuel along the Intercoastal, or cleaning the boat, Boatyard is a service that will bring the fuel to the home dock after the trip. Another service they offer is cleaning the boat (under $65). Both services need to be made in advance. This allows you more time boating less time maintaining.otherwise the charge will be $5 per gallon,

Cancellation policy moderate
- Free cancellations until 5 days before the booking start time.
- 50% refund for cancellations between 3-5 days before the booking start time.
- Cancellations within 2 days of the booking start time are non-refundable.
Security deposit
A security deposit hold (not a charge) will be placed on your credit card 48 hours before your booking starts to cover any incidental damage that may occur during your rental. This hold is released 48 hours after the booking is complete, if no claims are made. The security deposit amount for the boat you are booking will be outlined during the check-out process.
