The boat

Morgana is a beautiful traditional gaff-rigged ketch.



She was custom designed by Arthur Wycoff, N.A. and built by the Van Dam Wood Craft company in Michigan in 1984. She is 46 feet overall, 32 feet on deck, with a 10 foot beam and 5 foot draft.



She features a wide cabin top and side decks for comfort and safety and a well appointed saloon when you want to get out of the elements. A galley and head are available on board. You may bring your own snacks and beverages to enjoy, including beer and wine. Our vessel can carry up to six guests.



Morgana ("By the Sea" in Old Welsh) reflects pride of heritage, pride of craftsmanship, and pride of ownership. On deck, her lines and gaff rig reflect a design heritage inspired by 18th and 19th century "Coasters", working sail craft engaged in commercial trade. Below deck, she reflects modern boat building materials and techniques, and contemporary amenities.



Morgana features state of the art navigation equipment and meets and exceeds USCG safety requirements.

This boat belongs to a Commercial Owner, an independent boat rental company. A Commercial Owner is an independent, Boatsetter-approved boat rental company who provides their own insurance to their guests.

A security deposit hold (not a charge) will be placed on your credit card 48 hours before your booking starts to cover any incidental damage that may occur during your rental. This hold is released 48 hours after the booking is complete, if no claims are made. The security deposit amount for the boat you are booking will be outlined during the check-out process.
