The boat

KH Maritime LLC started with the vision of experienced USCG Licensed Captains sharing their passion and knowledge with others and delighting our guests with personalized cruises for a maximum of six(6) paying guest. Karen's Kanoe will take our guests to any of the many "Secrets of the Chesapeake Bay" destinations.



Our commitment is to give your guests a carefree, fun and relaxing day on the Bay whether it be enjoying a boat ride combined with dropping anchor, kayaking, taking photographs, just reclining in the sun or spending time with family and friends and rounding out the day with food or refreshments.



Captain Karen Holcomb and first mate Peter T. Brown are the owners of Karen's Kanoe , a 34' Carver Santigo powerboat, that will take our guests to the various special rivers, gunk holes and ports that make the Chesapeake Bay estuaries such a jewel of a body of water and will provide many Chesapeake Bay Adventures to each of our guests.



The price of a half day cruise is $500 for a minimum of 4 hours inclusive of gas and a USCG licensed captain. The price of a full day cruise is $650 inclusive of gas and a licensed captain. The half-day of full day price is for one through six paying guests with a 25% discount for the sixth passenger.



KH Maritime Services can also accommodate more extensive trips allowing our guests more time to explore the Secrets of the Chesapeake Bay visiting various bed and breakfasts, exploring various "gunk holes" on the Bay or whatever the charter itinerary may be. Prices for these cruises are negotiated based on your charter itinerary requests.

This boat belongs to a Commercial Owner, an independent boat rental company. A Commercial Owner is an independent, Boatsetter-approved boat rental company who provides their own insurance to their guests.

A security deposit hold (not a charge) will be placed on your credit card 48 hours before your booking starts to cover any incidental damage that may occur during your rental. This hold is released 48 hours after the booking is complete, if no claims are made. The security deposit amount for the boat you are booking will be outlined during the check-out process.

If requested, the owner can provide a list of available captains for bareboat charter or the renter can use their own qualified captain. If the boat is being time chartered, the owner will provide the Captain.
