1976 Cal 2-34 "Resolute". Nice sailing boat with good sails and plenty of amenities. We race and cruise her on the sound. Expect a fast well balanced comfortable boat suited for competent sailors.
Note that this boat, like all boats, has it's peculiarities. The owners live in Portland Oregon, and will not be available (except on occasion) for the rental walk through. Instructions on the boat usage and how to turn on the equipment are available. We request that competent boaters requiring minimal instruction and supervision apply. Discounts available for charters of 5 days or more.
About the Boat:
The Cal MK II was designed by Bill Lapworth and built by Jensen Marine. This popular racer/cruiser is a great family boat with a well-designed interior that maximizes the use of space. The interior is laid out with a forward V-berth that will comfortably sleep two adults, and is a bigger berth than on many 40er's. There are two aft quarter berths, for storage or sleeping, and, the convertible dinette to port converts into a double berth for a full boat load of 6. There is ample storage in drawers, cabinets, a hanging locker and under berth storage for all of your supplies. The galley is well laid-out with a deep and well insulated icebox, stainless steel sink, and 3-burner stove.

-Rainbow Spinnaker
- 185% Dacron Genoa

I own a 1976 Cal 2-34 "Resolute" and a Hobie catamaran. I've sailed and raced the Cal in the Sound and have sailed throughout San Diego, Monterey CA, Sweden, and numerous lakes and other areas. I was the vice commodore of maintenance for the Naval Postgraduate School sailing club for two years, and was responsible for maintaining two Santana 22's. Kind of a big deal.

Security deposit
A security deposit hold (not a charge) will be placed on your credit card 48 hours before your booking starts to cover any incidental damage that may occur during your rental. This hold is released 48 hours after the booking is complete, if no claims are made. The security deposit amount for the boat you are booking will be outlined during the check-out process.
