HOW TO BOOK?

WHY SHOULD YOU RENT OUR BOAT?
Taking our boat out is a great way to spend time with friends and family enjoying all the beautiful sights that the different lakes has to offer, while relaxing on the water over some lunch. This 16' Pontoon has a large deck that can accommodate up-to 7 people, making it ideal for parties on the water. The deck and the comfy vinyl seats make it ideal for sunbathing or just lounging. The boat has a Bimini Top to provide you shade. The swim ladder makes getting in and out of the water a piece of cake and it has cup holders for you know.... cups! You could also beach it on the sand, mud, and pebbles.

WHAT SHOULD YOU KNOW ABOUT THE BOAT?
This is a 2015 Sun tracker Party Barge. This boat has a 20HP engine, SLOW BOAT and probably one of the slower boats on the water. However, this makes it very stable, easy to drive and great on gas mileage. We’ve had renters take it around Mercer Island, Kirkland, and Lake Union. (NOT IDEAL FOR ROUGH WATERS)
ANY ACCESSORIES?
6 adult life jackets, buoys, and an anchor.
Cooler, and portable speakers are available upon request only.
HOW DOES GAS WORK?
We will provide a full 8 gallon tank of fuel that should last you the day and an emergency 2 gallon tank just incase. We will collect $15 cash from you upon pick-up. If you return the boat with a full tank, we will reimburse the $15 to you. If you return the tank with any amount from a 1/2 tank or more, we will reimburse $5 to you. (Anything under a ½ tank will be the max cost of $15).
WHAT IS THE COMPUTATION OF TIME?
1/2 day is 4hrs consecutively of your choice
(For example: 11am-3p)
Full day is 8hrs consecutively of your choice
(For example: 11am-7p)
However, we are reasonable about going over time.
HOW DO YOU GET THE BOAT?

The boat will be launched and available to you in the water in front of Ivar's for pick-up at Gene Coulon Park. You will go through a quick pre inspection of the boat and you off you go.
We will accommodate by launching it in Lake Union or other nearby lakes for an additional cost of $150 for only those that book for a Full Day. This cost includes the launching and loading, and up to $15 for parking (Extra parking costs to be paid by renter). You can also pick-up the boat and trailer to haul to your weekend destination (3 DAY MINIMUM REQUIRED).
PARKING?
Most of the parking near Ivar's are 2hr parking. We recommend parking in the park itself, then walking over to Ivar's. If you have a lot of things to carry, you can temporarily park at Ivar's, load your things on the boat, then move your car to the park and walk over.

Cancellation policy moderate
- Free cancellations until 5 days before the booking start time.
- 50% refund for cancellations between 3-5 days before the booking start time.
- Cancellations within 2 days of the booking start time are non-refundable.
Security deposit
A security deposit hold (not a charge) will be placed on your credit card 48 hours before your booking starts to cover any incidental damage that may occur during your rental. This hold is released 48 hours after the booking is complete, if no claims are made. The security deposit amount for the boat you are booking will be outlined during the check-out process.
