We are located in the quaint fishing harbor of Scituate Massachusetts and offer both Offshore Fishing as well as Inshore. Scituate is located directly in the center of Massachusetts Bay allowing easy fishing access to the Sandy Shoals of Cape Cod and the underwater peaks and cliffs of Stellwagen Bank.
We can accommodate up to six people. Not only can you catch Tuna, Shark, Striped Bass, Bluefish, Cod, Haddock, and Mackerel. You will see Whales, dolphins, Basking Sharks, and Giant Ocean Sunfish. There’s a world out there that will amaze you.
We supply premium fishing tackle and bait for whatever type of fishing you want to do. The fishing Boat is a Novi Northeaster 30’ equipped with the latest Electronics and permitted to all Federal and State Safety and Fishing Regulations. Captain “Jayco” Jay Berggren is U.S.C.G. licensed and carries all necessary insurance and permits. Enoch is equipped with Computerized Navigation.

This trip is depending on the time of the season we can catch Shark, Tuna, Cod & Haddock, or a combination of all!
Inshore Charters:
Scituate Striped Bass & Blues Fishing
This trip is your choice of either 4-hour, 6-hour, 8-hour, 10-hour charter inshore fishing around Scituate Bay. We will be primarily fishing for Striped Bass and Bluefish but we also have the option to haul Lobster traps towards the end of our trip. You keep what you catch!

1. How many passengers are allowed on the boat trip?
The United States Coast Guard regulates our license. We are permitted to take up to six passengers. If you have more than six persons in your party we can do our best to help find another boat to join in the fun.
2. Are children allowed on the boat?
Yes! We encourage you to bring children so long as they wear life jackets. (Under 12 required by Coast Guard regulations to wear life jackets) We do supply life jackets but you are welcome to bring your own.
3. Do I need a saltwater fishing license?
No, you are covered under my charter boat fishing license, and nothing further is needed.
4. What should I bring for my trip?
Here are some suggestions: sunscreen, sweatshirts, rain gear (if forecasted), proper footwear (feet may get wet), sunglasses, a hat, camera, food, beverages, and a cooler for your take-home fillets.
5. Can we bring alcohol on board the boat?
Yes, glass containers are discouraged. If a passenger becomes drunk or rowdy, the captain has the discretion to cancel the trip and immediately return to the dock. No refunds will be given under these circumstances.
6. Do I need to bring fishing gear or bait?
No, we provide top-notch fishing gear and also provide fresh or live bait. If you have a favorite rod you would like to bring feel free to take it along.
7. How do I dress for the trip?
Weather on the water is different is significantly different than the weather on land. You should dress in layers, and have a waterproof jacket and shoes. A good rule of thumb is to expect the temperature to be 20 degrees cooler than what is forecast for land and to anticipate the possibility of rain on any trip.
8. Do I tip the mate or captain?
It is customary to tip the mate 20% for a job well done. If there is no mate available for your trip, the captain will cover the mate's duties (in addition to piloting the boat and finding the fish). In that case, it is appropriate to tip the captain the gratuity that would have gone to the mate.
9. Where do we leave?
We leave from 25 Mill Wharf Plaza, Scituate MA
10. When should we arrive at the dock for our trip?
You should arrive approximately 15 to 30 minutes prior to your agreed upon departure time.
11. Is there a bathroom on board the boat?
We suggest using the bathroom before the trip, which is located at our place of departure. In case of emergencies, we do have a functioning head.
12. Can I keep my fish and do you clean it?
Yes, you can keep your catch as long as it meets state regulations. We will expertly fillet your fish for you, or otherwise, dress them however you wish. You will receive your cleaned and filleted catch in sealed zip lock bags, which can be frozen or cooked immediately.
