I am an outgoing, friendly captain with a professional appearance. A "Can Do" attitude, but will not throw caution to the wind, just to get a job done. Very responsible and cost conscious when it comes to operation of a vessel for hire.
Have been on the water since I was able to. Operation everything from a rowboat with a 9.9 to a 35 sportfish fishing the canyons off Montauk. I obtained my captains license with the 100 Ton Master with Tow Endorsement, STCW Unlimited, Radar, AB Limited, and MROP. I have worked for SeaTow Sebastian for 7+ years as a weekend captain and in 2012 decided to put my license to work on a full time basis. Since then, I have worked with another captain to tow 2 damaged vessels from Florida to Freeport, TX, moved vessels for local deliveries, working as a private captain out of Miami providing 10 to 14 day trips for the owner and his guests. Water knowledge: Long Island Sound including Peconic Bay and Atlantic Ocean. Sandy Hook, NJ, Ocean and ICW from St Augustine to Ft Lauderdale, ICW from Government Cut to Islamorada, Gulf of Mexico and Gulf ICW from Florida Keys to Freeport, TX, Okeechobee Waterway from Stuart to Ft Myers and reverse. Northern Bahamas including Grand Bahama and Abacos. Boat Handling: 30 ft Sportcraft (Personal), 38 ft Chris Craft, 40 ft Meridian, 42 Grand Banks, 60 ft Jim Smith
