I charter my own 31' Century Walkaround in the Tampa bay area for cruising, sightseeing, and fishing trips. I have chartered as Captain on a variety of vessels from 22' runabouts to 30' Fast Rescue Boats to 47' Sport Fishermen over the past several years. While on active duty I was the Craft Master of a 117' Weapons Retriever with an 18 man crew as well as Assistant Navigator on several Submarines. I also have over 10 years experience as Vessel Superintendent in the Deep Water Salvage and Gas/Oil industries.

A retired USN Submariner and Craftmaster I have over 36 years experience at sea including qualifications as Submarine and Surface Quartermaster of the Watch and Officer of the Deck, Manned Deep Submergence Vehicle Pilot, ROV Pilot, First Class Diver (mixed gas), Command of a 117’ Labrador class Weapons Retriever with a crew of 18 conducting mine clearing operations in the Persian Gulf during Operations Dessert Shield and Dessert Storm. My experience includes voyages all over the world, in all weather conditions, in surface vessels of up to 251’ as Superintendent, Salvage Master and Master. I am competent in the use and repair of all vessel electronics including Radar, GPS, Electronic Navigation Plotters, Auto Pilot, AIS, Depth Finders, Sonar, VHF/DSC and various scientific and survey equipment. I have the ability to troubleshoot and affect repairs for all but the most catastrophic mechanical failures. I am an experienced, proven professional with exceptional seamanship, navigation and management skills that takes my responsibility for the safe, efficient care of your vessel seriously.
