I am an energetic person and have a fun attitude, I work well with a team, and strive on my own. My love for the ocean started when I was young and it has continued throughout my adult life, I enjoy all things boating related and believe I would be an asset to any program.
Biddeford Pool Yacht Club Summers 2004 - 2006 Launch Captain/Dock Attendant â€¢ Operated 28 passenger Coast Guard Inspected vessel to club members moorings. â€¢ Prepared clubhouse, docks and club boats for the summers and winters. â€¢ Responsible for fuel and merchandise sales, up keep of the property and boats. â€¢ Assisting members and sailing program with troubleshooting and a helping hand. â€œM/Y Indiscretionâ€ 118â€™ Broward November 2011 - October 2014 Captain of accompanying 52â€™ Riva/First Mate on Broward â€¢ Duties include captaining the 52â€™ Riva with up to 8 guests mainly around New England/Long Island & Broward/Miami areas as well as deliveries. â€¢ Responsible for the maintenance as well as interior and exterior upkeep of the Riva. â€¢ Cater to guests onboard the Riva with drinks and hors dâ€™oeuvres as well as helping on the Broward during dinner service and chauffeur to land based events. â€¢ Worked closely with Captain and Engineer during projects involving the tenders and the Broward. â€¢ General Mate duties performed on the Broward, included holding watches on deliveries and relief captain when the Captain was absent. â€œM/Y Woodever - 62â€™ Sunseeker Predator May 2011 - October 2011 Captain â€¢ Responsible for captaining the Sunseeker during day and evening cruises, changing anchorages throughout the day, rafting up with similar sized boats and towing other vessels. â€¢ Heavy use from friends, family and small children while cruising in NYC, Long Island, Newport and Nantucket. â€¢ Duties also included maintenance and upkeep of all systems onboard, interior and exterior upkeep, provisioning, fueling, and hiring crew. â€¢ Responsible for all engineering as well as budgeting and overseeing contractor projects. â€¢ Helped with interior duties and service when available. â€œM/Y Silver Câ€ - 110â€™ Lazzara April 2007 - May 2011 First Mate â€¢ Participated in working with the Captain and deckhand during four (4) yard periods. â€¢ Projects included working on engineering projects, plumbing, hydraulic lifts and davits, oil and fuel filter changes, replacing air condition units and maintaining the exterior. â€¢ Duties also included working with the stewardess with interior responsibilities: Turndowns, cleaning heads and food prep. â€¢ Cruising areas included Southern Florida to Maine and Bahamas while towing a 32â€™ tender. â€œM/Y Silver C Expressâ€ - 42â€™ Tiara Open May 2008 - May 2011 Captain â€¢ Single handedly accompanied the vessel on Dockwise Yacht Transport to the Caribbean â€¢ Responsible for exterior upkeep as well as running the boat for fishing trips, pickup/drop offs from Long Island to Connecticut. â€¢ Fishing duties included rigging baits, prepping rods and reels, and processing the catch. â€¢ Other duties also included gathering and transporting supplies for ownerâ€™s construction project from neighboring islands. â€¢ Cruising areas include St. Barths, St. Martin, St. Thomas, Northeast and a delivery to Florida. "S/Y Capella" - 45' Sabre Cruiser, November 2006 - February 2007 Boat Manager â€¢ Worked closely with owner to provision yacht to be shipped from Newport to ST. Thomas. â€¢ Met the boat in ST. Thomas lived and worked onboard between the owners trips. â€¢ Duties performed: oil changes, detailing interior and exterior, varnishing exterior teak and companionway, updated fire system. â€¢ Cruised through USVI and BVI with the owner when his kids could not make the trip.
