Hi, I'm Captain Marc! I have been a USCG licensed captain since 1993, and boating well before that. I currently hold a USCG Master 3000 Ton Oceans license, and a Third Mate Unlimited Tonnage license. I have experience running boats ranging from 16' open fishing boats, to 45' racing/cruising sailboats, to 300' ocean going oil-field supply vessels. I grew up boating and love spending time on the water in any capacity; cruising, sailing, water sports, sand bars, dock-n-dines, touring, teaching, and overnight trips! I look forward to making your next trip a safe, exciting, and memorable experience!

Previous Experience

I grew up in NY, boating on Long Island Sound most of my childhood. I have owned and operated several different vessels in my life, including three open runabouts (outboard and I/O) in the 20' range, a 31' Allmand sloop, and a 34' C&C sloop. I hold a USCG 3000 Ton Oceans Masters, Master of Towing Vessels, 200 Ton Sail Endorsement, and a 3rd Mate Unlimited Tonnage Endorsement. I received my first USCG License in 1993; a 50 Ton Near Coastal Masters. I most recently worked as captain aboard a 300' oil field supply vessel in Brazil and the Gulf of Mexico (4 years). Prior to that, I ran as Mate for 4 years aboard tugboats, docking ships in New York Harbor and moving barges along the East Coast. I also worked as Mate aboard a vehicle and passenger ferry which operated year-round on Long Island Sound between New York and Connecticut. I also ran yacht club launches/water taxis for 3 years in the early 90's. Prior to returning to the maritime industry in 2003, I worked as a computer programmer and project manager for several investment firms in NY for 8 years. I loved my career in technology, but I love the water even more, so here I am! I have lived in Palm Beach since 2008 and truly love South Florida, which I proudly call home! I now work as a freelance captain and vessel manager, operating primarily in Palm Beach and surrounding areas.
