My experience covers from transporting tourist at Navy Pier, thru the Chicago Lock across to the Museum Campus, to operating a Department of Defense charter fishing boat, to spending a day on the water with a client on either a power or sailboat, to steering a 1,000ft lake freighter from the Port of Dulth, across Lake Superior, thru Thunder Bay, into Poe Lock at Sault Ste Marie, into the St. Mary's River, across Lake Huron, into St. Clair River & Lake, across Lake Erie to Monroe Michigan, as well as thru the Straits of Mackinaw down Lake Michigan to Chicago. Have several trips from Peoria, Illinois to Calumet Harbor/Lake Michigan, across the lake to Indiana Harbor. Crewed on an Atlantic crossing from Las Palmas, Grand Canary Islands, Spain to St. Lucia, British Virgin Islands, 2700 nautical miles on a 45' sailboat.
