Ben planned a boat trip in advance for his small vacation. He wanted to be on the water with his friends who were visiting from other places. Unfortunately the plan for Saturday had to be rescheduled for next day due to a really stormy weather, but everything else went according to plan. Ben had some experience with small boats and asked a lot of questions. He returned the boat on time and actually refueled it a bit as well. Ben is a great customer, and I would definitely rent my boat to him any time in the future if he desires. Emil
Emil was incredibly friendly and helpful and informative-being very understanding when we asked to change the rental date because of bad weather. He met us at a convenient location and was very accommodating with everything we needed. The boat was pretty great too, definitely fast when you needed it to be but also not something I would suggest for those that are looking to take it on choppy weather or tough waters. All in all great experience!
An excellent bareboat rental for the bay. It sailed well in winds of 5kt (all sails) up to 26kt (reefed main, no or partial jib). The mainsail stackpack, a good reef point, and roller furling jib made it easy to adapt to changing winds. Weather helm is well controlled and stability was very good with only minor spray. It is kept in great condition. The manager and owner were clear, professional and did exactly what they said they would. Nice harbor too. We're definitely planning to come back.
A wonderful person with very nice friends and young son (age 9). We managed to hit boat speeds as high as 10+ knots in as much as 25+ knots of wind. Especially considering the vigorous conditions, Kena and her group were excellent novice crew for a classic Bay daysail.
