Rainerio is always very understanding even when I was running a few minutes late. Communication is good and he usually takes the boat for the whole day. 8 am to 8 pm but only puts about 3 hours use on it. The boat comes back in great shape to. This is his third time renting from me and I hope to see him again soon. -Nelson
This was my second time sailing with Carl's boat. Agin he exceeded expectations taking care of welcoming every member of the crew. Communication was excelent and all went better than expected. Carl's boat is very well taken care of, it's a joy to sail on it around the bay. Thank you Carl, and looking forward to sail agin soon in your boat.
We had the pleasure of a few hours on the boat with Walter and learned a lot about the boat and NYC history. The boat is perfect for a day sail in the NYC area and surrounds. It is an older boat but is extremely well maintained. It sails nicely and is very stable. I would recommend it highly.
Sailors, Pier's Bristol is the best way to spend a day on the water. Although she does have some age on her, the charm of her build and vintage will enchant you. She is just as advertised, sails beautifully and engine is in great condition. We had an amazing day. Things to know: To get to the boat, you will have to take the old dingy off the rack, put it in the water, and row south into the mooring field to find her. You will then have to dock her in order to pick up crew and supplies. This was easy as she is the only two masted boat in the mooring field, but make sure you plan for this little trip out and back. No seats in the dingy made it extra fun. No fuel gauge or depth finder calls for a little more experience. We had 10 on the boat and were very comfortable.
Once again, another excellent experience through Boatbound. Right from the initial communication with Mike through enjoying a fabulous time on the bay. Mike's Regal was perfect for the four of us. Boat was clean, ran very well and easy to operate. I would definitely recommend this to friends and family. I am sure it will not be the last time... I would like to thank Mike for sharing his boat with the Boatbound community.
