“Currently I am a San Francisco Bar Pilot, navigating the large ships in and out of the bay. I am a graduate of California Maritime Academy from 1995. I was previously a tugboat captain on the SF Bay for about 15 years. I have owned many small runabouts, a 47' powerboat, an 83' WWII wooden PT Boat, a 52' wooden tugboat single screw. I was the President of the Sailing Club at California Maritime Academy, and taught sailing at a camp in NY State for 7 years. I have a 1600 ton USCG Masters License and a 3rd Mate unlimited oceans license. I currently live in Alameda with my wife and daughter.”
Aboard since 2014
From Alameda, CA
Mark is a professional mariner. Very pleasant to work with. He gave us great feed-back that we acted on to make it possible to have the boat ready for a mid-day next-day charter. All was good with the boat with nothing lost or broken. Look forward to sending Mark and friends out sailing again.
Thank you to Mark and to Boatbound.
