“My name is Jose Miguel Castello. I grew up sailing. I spent 5 summers sailing optimists in sailing camp in Florida and the Canary Islands, Spain. I spent 6 summers cruising along the Eastern coast of Spain on a Beneteau 39 and 4 summers cruising on a Jeanneau 45.2. I then owned a laser for 2 years which I sailed fairly often and crewed for a Laser Vago. From 2006-2011 I crewed for a Hobie Tiger (F18 class) both competitively and recreationally. I crewed for a Catalina 27 both recreationally and competitively from 2008-2010. I have raced other F18's from 2012-currently and I have a timeshare on a J92S (30 ft keelboat) which I sail 3-5x a week in San Francisco Bay. All in all, I have plenty of experience in both dinghies and larger cruise sail boats in a variety of sailing conditions. ”

Jose's Beneteau was spectacular. A solid and very comfortable sailboat that is well suited to Bay Area sailing. He was accommodating and communicative and had the boat perfectly prepped for us to take it out this weekend. We did an overnight trip, and had a great time exploring the San Francisco Bay!
Four of us had a great overnight charter with Jose. The boat is in excellent shape, clean, and well-equipped. She's an excellent boat for S.F. Bay, comfortable and dry to sail even in the typical blustery S.F. conditions. Jose knows the boat well, is an excellent sailor, and best of all a very pleasant person to spend a couple of days with.
