Captain Alton is a United States Coast Guard licensed Captain and a Jacksonville native, raised fishing in the St. Johns River and adjacent waters of the Atlantic Ocean. With a lifetime of fishing in the Jacksonville area and over 16 years of experience as a guide, a great time fishing is guaranteed.
We offer many options to cover whatever kind of fishing you may be interested in. We offer offshore charters, a combination of inshore and coastal, and fishing in the St. Johns River. In the river, you can catch a multitude of species including but not limited to, redfish, trout, flounder, drum, and sheepshead.
Coastal trips offer species like cobia, tripletail, king mackerel, tarpon, sharks, and jack crevalle. Offshore bottom fishing and trolling are available. Some species caught are grouper, snapper, triggerfish, amberjacks, mahi-mahi, wahoo, sailfish, tuna, wahoo, and more. Not sure what you want to fish for? Just looking for a great time? All trips include rod and reels, tackle, bait, ice, fuel, fishing license, fish cleaning, and a professional guide. The fishing vessel is the Deep Pleasure which is a fully equipped 27' center console with twin engines and all necessary safety equipment.

Can I bring alcohol on my trip?
- Alcohol is allowed in cans or cups, please.
What should I bring?
- A hat, sunglasses (polarized is recommended), sunscreen, snacks, and drinks.
Should I bring a cooler?
- A small cooler is welcome on board but not necessary. You will need a cooler to bring your catch home if you plan to do so.
What should I wear?
- Nonskid shoes or flip flops with non-marking soles, a comfortable outfit, and a light rain jacket are always a good addition.
