The boat

Are you ready to take complete credit for planning one of the most unique outings in San Diego?

Experience Boutique Boating at its best, curated by a woman-owned business… on a boat called “Meant to Be” …with a name echoing the epic moment with friends and loved ones that you are onboard to celebrate.

What do you get when you book with us? You’ll cruise along on the Bay, proudly standing out from a sea of look-alike charter boats, and you’ll get to take credit for finding and hosting an experience on a different level from anything else in San Diego.

Choose your $900 three-hour cruise experience with us at two fixed times: Afternoon, from 12pm to 3pm or Sunset, from 5pm to 8pm.

We welcome up to six passengers in your group, per U.S. Coast Guard regulations.

You will board in the famed America’s Cup Harbor in beautiful Point Loma, San Diego, at H&M Landing. We will provide more specific boarding details with your booking.

The details matter with us. Here’s what you get when you reserve our charter experience:

No. 01: One-of-a-Kind Yacht

Meant to Be is in a league entirely her own. She immediately stands apart from the masses of white super yachts and generic fiberglass sailboats. There is simply no vessel like her on San Diego Bay.

• Beautifully distinctive with her midnight blue hull, glittering stainless steel touches, nautical portholes, and impressive command bridge.
• Her elevated elegance is enhanced by premium teak cabinetry, navy pinstriped upholstery, and wood flooring.
• Super comfortable, with multiple lounging areas from a covered rear cockpit with large teak table to sunny forward bow with beanbag and rooftop dining area with the ultimate views.
• Bluetooth your own music to our sound system. Drink holders are within easy reach and grab rails are exactly where you need them.
• Pilothouse door to get to the bow and a secure staircase with rail up to the command bridge.
• Private modern electric toilet and full galley/kitchen, complete with cups, plates, and utensils.

No. 02: Professional/Licensed Captain and Fully Legal/Permitted Charter

Captain Chris or Captain Ray will greet you and settle you onboard. As U.S. Coast Guard licensed professional Captains, they will ensure your safety, but they are also gracious hosts and friendly, longtime San Diego locals with a true passion for all things San Diego Bay.

Notably, Meant to Be, On the Sea is a completely legal charter, licensed with a numbered permit by the Port of San Diego: An important designation to look for in your charter selection for safety and security!

No. 03: Three Hours of Serenity

Relaxed and never rushed, this moment is all about you. Calm and easy cruising, Meant to Be offers a serene and gentle ride that ensures you can talk and sip wine while you see all the San Diego sights.

You can expect to see all the top sights within San Diego Bay during your voyage:
• Pass under the iconic Coronado Bridge and cruise into the quiet cove of Glorietta Bay (if you wish, you may optionally stop and swim or paddle board from here)
• The expansive skyline of San Diego will unfold in front of you with its unique array of buildings that glimmer in the sunset, turning gilded gold right in front of you.
• A look across the impressive U.S. Naval Air Station and fleet of Navy ships
• A close-up view of the USS Midway, the historic carrier, with more than 30 aircraft on its deck, is among San Diego’s most-visited spots.
• Cruise by the tall masts of the HMS Surprise replica and the 1863 Star of India. See the San Salvador, a replica of a ship that sailed in from Spain in 1542.
• Look up toward Point Loma and you’ll see the large white statue of Juan Rodriguez Cabrillo overlooking the water, the first European to sail into the Bay.
• Seals and sea lions, who love to lounge along the Bay, but particularly along the bait docks, which we will swing up along for a close-up hello.

No. 04: VIP From the Start

A blue carpet entry serves as an unexpected welcome aboard Meant to Be at the dock. You'll know you have arrived in style, and the thoughtful memorable touches continue once you board, especially if you upgrade to our all-inclusive package.

• Note this $900 listing is just for Boat, Captain, Fuel. You may also BYOB whatever you wish for drinks and picnic-style snacks as part of your cruise.
• Optionally, for $250 extra (paid in advance of your cruise) we can provide a full seamless package that ensures everything is onboard for you and already in place for an inclusive and exclusive experience:

1. Bottle of chilled champagne, Classic Moet, which Kings and Queens have enjoyed for ages, served on ice for an exquisite presentation that speaks of quiet luxury.
2. An abundant charcuterie, plated elegantly and accompanied by white Italian linens, gold-tone flatware and refreshing Fiji bottled water.
3. Beautiful bouquet of flowers, on the ready, hidden inside, for you to present at the moment of your choosing to the one who has captured your heart.
4. Special gift from the owner, so that you can maintain the memory of Meant to Be, On the Sea long after you depart the docks.

Hopefully, you’ve concluded that this is not your typical group booze cruise – but no judgment if that’s your thing! There are plenty of those elsewhere on the Bay.

Ours is an upscale private charter experience focused on delivering magical moments: Curated with intention, designed to impress, and created to be remembered.

A cruise aboard Meant to Be is perfect for celebrating moments that are …Meant to Be.
