Description

Roomy, well maintained 23 feet bow rider with deep V hull. A deep V-hull provides a smooth ride through choppy waters and provides a nice wake in the back. This separates if from a regular ski boat, which can't handle waves over 2 feet.

Additionally, It has a large v8 engine for watersports and strong performance. Nice stereo system with aux jackand subwoofer. Wake board can be provided. Air chair (hydrofoil) is shown but requires training. I have two different style tubes, one is for putting kids on, which has 2 separate compartments and then a 3 person lay on top tube. Can fit up to 10 people total (totally packed -no watersports-), but 4-6 people is optimum if to wakeboarding and tubing.

Bimini in middle provides good sun and rain protection. Also have noodles and a variety of floaties. A table can be put up in the front bow section too for having lunch or dinner on the water. There is a swim ladder on back for ease of entering and exiting the boat. There is a small head (potty) on the boat.

I don't always get messages on this platform at work, so see my contact info if you want to get a hold of me quicker and multiple questions.

FAQ

What is 1/2 day?
-4 hours

What is full day?
-8 hours

What and how much is service charge?
Boatbound gets the service charge for providing this
rental platform. I think it is 10-12% of the booking total price.

Do I need a certificate or something to drive around?
Yes, there is a free boating certificate you can get online, just search "boat US safety certificate"

How much is Captain?
-Price with captain listed plus an gratuity you want to give (usually 10%-20% of the gross).-

What can we do?
-View Monuments
-Each lunch/dinner at exclusive locations
-Anchor out and swim at exclusive loations
-Utilize the variety of swim toys that are included on boat
-visit waterside bars and diners
-visit Georgetown, Alexandria, Navy Yard, Fish Market, National Harbor

How much is gas?
-Gas costs usually around $30-$60
-gas can be around $50-100 if going over 10 miles and doing watersports (tube towing, ect)

Who pays for gas?
You the Renter

Where do we get gas?
Local gas is at James Creek Marina and Columbia Island Marina

Maximum guests?
It is a weight issue more than guests. Shooting for nor more than 1600 pounds. Which can be 8 large males or 4 average adults and 6 children. The weight of the ice, food and beverages you bring factor in too.

Driving Experience needed?
Some is necessary, we can drive around to see your skill set

Do you teach driving?
Yes

How far can I go?
Staying the DC area (Georgetown/ Key Bridge to National Harbor/Alexandria) is preferred because the Army Corps of Engineers and DC Gov clean the river of logs and debris. Farther down to Mt Vernon can be a bit more treacherous with sunken logs. The gas down river can be an issue too (the gas stations sometimes pump their tanks dry which pulls off the top 4 inches of bad gas in the tank). The best views are in the DC area from my experience. If there is a problem I can quickly get you in DC, a tow from Mt. Vernon is around 4+ hours back.

Where does boat leave from?
Boat can be picked up from any public area such as Georgetown, Gravelly point, National harbor and public fuel docks. This boat is usually on a trailer so pickup at Gravelly point is usually best.

Tom was super easy to work with. Boat is not in pristine shape but she runs and we had a good time.

Tom was great. He gave us a great overview overview of the boat when we arrived and was in communication when we needed. Wonderful experience.

We needed a boat at the last minute as the one we had originally reserved fell through due to the boat owner being unprepared. Tom approved us and we were on the boat in 2 hours. We got a very nice, clean boat and dealt with a professional owner. I would definitely recommend this boat.
