Flexible Hours During the Week: You Plan Your Own Yacht Trip!
When you REQUEST TO BOOK, select the option for "No Captain"! You will hire (outside of the Boatsetter platform) a US Coast Guard certified captain to operate the boat. Budget $50-$75/hour plus gratuity for a captain. After you book the boat we will send you a list of captains who are familiar with our boats with contact information so you can reach out to them directly. Legally, the renter must pay the captain directly, not through the Boatsetter platform. BAREBOAT RENTAL REGULATIONS | This is a bareboat rental, and Coast Guard regulations require that you hire and pay a captain directly. You should budget $50-$75/hour plus gratuity for a captain. The boat operator must be a US Coast Guard licensed master with minimum 50T endorsement. After you book the boat we will send you a list of captains who are familiar with our boats with contact information so you can reach out to them directly. You may choose a captain from our list, or if you have some other licensed captain in mind please submit their credentials to us for review. Bareboat charter regulations also require that the renter is responsible for on-board consumables including fuel. Your fuel expense will not be more than $150 for our most popular itinerary to the downtown "playpen" anchorage and back to the harbor.

Cancellation policy strict
- Free cancellations until 30 days before the booking start time.
- 50% refund for cancellations between 15-30 days before the booking start time.
- Cancellations within 14 days of the booking start time are non-refundable.
Security deposit
A security deposit hold (not a charge) will be placed on your credit card 48 hours before your booking starts to cover any incidental damage that may occur during your rental. This hold is released 48 hours after the booking is complete, if no claims are made. The security deposit amount for the boat you are booking will be outlined during the check-out process.
