Capt Mark grew up on the Hudson River and Long Island Sound With 27 years on the Florida Coast and Western Long Island and brings years of sailing experience. He is a teaching captain, thinking out loud always making all other captains feel very comfortable.
This is the perfect venue for parties as Captain Mark is an entertainer and avid musician and most New Yorkers have heard him performing around town or on the radio doing jingles.
He never quit his day job as an engineer CPA accountant legal document writer, code writer and consultant in the daily news paper industry. Everyone will be thoroughly entertained.
A standard four hour cruise includes stopping for anyone who wants to jump in the water as well as teaching other tips and tricks for big boat sail handling and maneuvering. This includes sailing with fractional sail exposed on the windy days to keep the ride nice and smooth and very stable.

Ice-filled coolers are available, and there is always a stock of 16.9 ounce bottles of water, Crystal Light ice tea mix, and whatever alcohol or good you want to bring onto the boat. There is a full galley & microwave.
Cruises can also be easily specially catered upon request.
The boat is a center cockpit sloop-rigged sailboat with in-mast furling main and furling jib. Aft steps give easy access to the water. Aft hot and cold shower at steps.
The aft deck can easily accommodate six people seated in specific chairs and two others sitting on towels on the back deck under the shade of the solar panels.
The large center cockpit can easily accommodate eight people.
There is plenty of space for everyone to spread out on deck during a 4 or 8 hour sail.
The boat is fast and it does it’s theoretical hull speed of 8.4 kn with half tanks and flat seas with only 18 knots of wind.
