The boat

Cruise and Fish in Style in a Clean and Reliable Classic Boston Whaler.

You will have immediate access to Clear Lake, Kemah and Galveston Bay - don't forget to wave to the folks on the Kemah Boardwalk who wish that they were with you on the water!

Free Parking is available, as are clean restrooms and a general-purpose store that has ice and snacks as well as other last-minute items thay may have been forgotten.

There are also dollies if they are needed to transport your day bags, fishing equipment and whatever else you decide to take to the boat. Other than that, the marina staff and I will be there to assist when you leave the dock, and there to tie off the boat upon your return. There are no boat ramp issues to anticipate or contend with. Upon return your job is done!

Some additional details:

If you opt for a relaxing outing cruising Clear Lake, there are a number of dockside restaurants where you can pull up and enjoy a nice meal.

The boat is equipped with a Lowrance HOOK Reveal 7 Tripleshot with Sonar, Side Scan and Down Scan. The Quick start guide is located in the center console along with some additional notes to help with getting started.

There are two Igloo Marine Coolers on the boat for your use - a 72 quart in the stern, and a 54 quart in front of the center console. Both coolers have seat cushions. There is no live well, so please bring your own if you plan on fishing and using live bait.

The anchor has 25 feet of rope and 10 feet of chain and serves well in shallow waters in calm conditions. The anchor chain is covered with a nylon sleeve to help protect the boat’s gel coat. Please be careful when retrieving the anchor so as to avoid bashing the boat!

A Bimini top is provided for shade and comfort and may be used when at anchor or underway. There are four vertical rod holders, two in the seat-back behind the driver and two on the stern rail.

The overall weight capacity of this vessel, and erring on the side of caution) provides for 900lbs for passengers and all carry-on items. Please keep this in mind if need be. I want you all to be safe - and comfortable.

If children/youths are to be on the boat, it is renter's responsibility to ensure that they are provided with (and are wearing if necessary) appropriately sized and coast guard approved life jackets.

The boat is in full compliance with U.S. Coast Guard and Texas regulations. Safety equipment also includes 6 Adult Life Jackets, Visual Distress Signals and an Air Horn. The boat has two six-gallon gas tanks (which will be provided full) and is powered by a 2008 60 hp Evinride etec. We use Ethanol-free gas exclusively.
