2021 Moomba Makai Wake Boat Rental
Spend the day on the water aboard our 2021 Moomba Makai, a spacious 24-foot wake boat kept in excellent condition and professionally set up for wakesurfing, wakeboarding, tubing, swimming, cruising, and relaxing with family and friends.
The Makai is Moomba’s largest boat and offers plenty of seating, storage, and room to move around. It comfortably accommodates groups of up to 12 passengers and is rated for as many as 16, making it a great option for family outings, birthdays, bachelor or bachelorette parties, company events, or a full day on the lake with friends.
Built for Wakesurfing
This boat has been modified and carefully weighted to create a larger, cleaner, and more powerful surf wave than a standard factory setup. The wake can be adjusted for different rider sizes and experience levels, whether you are learning for the first time or already surfing without the rope.
Wakesurf lessons are also available. Our experienced captain can help with board selection, starting technique, balance, rope handling, wave positioning, and progressing to riding without the rope.

Great for a Full Day on the Lake
Use the boat for wakesurfing, wakeboarding, tubing, swimming, sightseeing, or cruising along the shoreline. You can spend the morning surfing, stop in a protected cove for lunch and swimming, then head back out for another session or enjoy a slower sunset cruise.
Guests are welcome to bring their own food, drinks, towels, sunscreen, and personal items. Please contact us in advance regarding coolers, boards, life jackets, tubes, and other available equipment.
Captain and Surf Lessons
A captain can be added to your rental so your group can relax and enjoy the day without worrying about launching, docking, driving, setting up the wave, or managing the boat.
Captain service is especially recommended for groups that want to wakesurf, drink alcohol, are unfamiliar with Jordanelle Reservoir, or simply want a more convenient and stress-free experience.
Wakesurf instruction is available for beginners, children, and experienced riders who want help improving their technique.
Jordanelle Delivery
We can deliver the boat directly to Jordanelle Reservoir for an additional $200.
Delivery can include transporting the boat to the reservoir, launching it, and arranging the return process. Contact us for details regarding pickup times, launch location, parking, fuel, and end-of-day procedures.
Rental Requirements
The boat must be operated responsibly and returned in the same condition in which it was received. Renters are responsible for following all Utah boating laws, passenger limits, safety requirements, and reservoir regulations.
A rental agreement, security deposit, valid driver’s license, and proof of boating experience may be required. Additional charges may apply for fuel, damage, excessive cleaning, late returns, missing equipment, or improper operation.

Security deposit
A security deposit hold (not a charge) will be placed on your credit card 48 hours before your booking starts to cover any incidental damage that may occur during your rental.
