Frequently Asked Questions:
What Do We Do On Our Boat Day? It’s really up to each group, however most people want to do a combination of island hopping, sightseeing, swimming and stopping at a restaurant or local watering hole. Let me know what you want to do and where you want to go and enjoy your boat day and we will make a plan or simply "wing it" if that's what you prefer. Rafts and other water sports items can be brought if planned prior to trip.
How Long Of A Trip Should We Plan? There is a 4 hour minimum and trips can be coordinated up to 8. Based on what you want to see and do we can try to plan this together. Odds are you will be having so much fun and want to stay out longer then you planned is typically what happens.
Where Will You Pick Us Up? There are multiple docking locations to pick you up and we can coordinate that to make it as simple as possible for you. Before the trip we will let you know the most convenient location based on your travel plans or hotel location. Drop off can be the same location or different depending on your plans after boating.
What Can We Bring? Dry storage space is limited, so please limit items to small/medium beach bags, towels, phones and any other necessary personal items.
Can We Bring Our Own Alcohol & Beverages? Yes. Glass drinkware is not permitted. Glass bottles in koozies and alcohol in glass bottles that is used to refill beverage containers is allowed.
Do You Have A Cooler On Board? Yes. There are multiple soft-side coolers that fit in the deck hatches that can be used for cold storage. I will provide ice also for your convenience. Please feel free to bring your own small cooler if your prefer or feel it necessary. No Styrofoam coolers please.
Do You Have Music On The Boat? Yes. You can connect your device to the sound system using Bluetooth or listen to local stations or the Sirius XM on board.
Can We Bring Food Or Snacks? Yes. Food can be stored in the coolers or we can coordinate stopping at waterfront restaurants if desired or get take out food from them as well.
Can We Smoke On Board? Vaping devices are allowed, but no cigarettes or cigars with "live fire" on board for safety reasons. Smoking of any type can be done off that boat at any stop.
What Should We Wear? The temperature and weather can change quickly while on the water. Please watch the weather and bring appropriate clothing. I can assist in guiding you prior to the trip if desired. In fall, winter and spring months, please bring something warm to wear just in case. Layering clothes is always a good call in during these months.
Do I Need Sea Sickness Medication? I make every effort to make sure your boat day will be beyond smooth. Because of the inherent nature of boating, and because weather conditions change, we will experience some waves and motion. I do not provide sea sickness medication.
What Kind Of Wildlife Will We See? The islands and surrounding waterways are filled with lots of creatures that swim, crawl and fly. It is possible you will see dolphins, sea turtles, manatees, rays, fish, Osprey, crabs and more.
Is There A Bathroom On Board? No. Please ask all guests to use the bathroom before departing. If you need to go to the bathroom while out on the water, we can plan a stop or you will need to go in the water. A nearby marina or restaurant stop can easily be coordinated.
Should We Tip The Captain? It is always appreciated and the. recommendation is the same % you would give at restaurant.
