Why just sail, when you can sail Wikiwiki? In the Hawaiian language WikiWiki means Fast... And that is what you can expect when you experience the thrill of trimaran sailing! Our Corsair F24 is one of the fastest sailboats on the Columbia River, often matching the wind speed up to about 15 mph and topping 17 knots on a reach with winds above 20 mph.
But, she is also very stable and leans or "heals" very little compared to a traditional mono-hull sailboat thanks to her two "Amas" (or side-hulls) which act like training wheels on a bike. So, WikiWiki stays more or less level. A very comfortable way to sail! Speaking of comfort, WikiWiki has a full set of custom cockpit cushions and a porta potty for your convenience. She is sloop rigged, with roller furling sails (both the main and jib), so she is also a very easy boat to sail and to learn on for both beginners and experienced sailors alike.
Charters to catch the peaceful morning breeze and also the stronger winds that typically blow in the afternoon are available. Special sunset cruises are also available by requesting a quote. She can accommodate up to 5 adults or 4 adults and some kidos. A popular destination is Government Island Marine Park for a picnic or beach combing walk. Or just enjoy the pure excitement of fast multihull sailing on the mighty Columbia between the bridges. The choice is yours!
Sailing lessons are available at $25 per person/hour with a $50 minimum. (In addition to boat fees payable directly to your instructor) Please mention that you are interested in a sailing lesson in the comments or message me when you do your booking.
So, come sail with us! Bring your friends, family, and fury friend. Your food and beverages are welcome (You must open your own adult beverages). It's about the most fun you can legally have on a sailboat! I'm looking forward to assuring you have a safe and enjoyable time sailing WikiWiki on the Columbia. -Captain Joe (USCG Licensed Sailing Master and Certified American Sailing Association Instructor)
