7 hr SWFL Fishing Experience: Learn to fish the historic waters of Upper Pine Island Sound with Captain Keith as we push off the docks before sunrise on in an 18' skiff for a short trip to the bait grounds where we will use cast-nets to fill the livewells with our bait for the day while also working topwater lures with the sunrise to target big early morning trout. From there, we will pole and motor the calm back waters in search of tailing redfish and snook under the mangroves and grass flats. All tackle, licensing, ice, water provided.
5 hr Inshore Artificial Half-Day: Up with the sunrise and from the beaches Pine Island Sound to the narrow mangrove islands and flats of Matlacha Pass, I get to share my passion for our SWFL backcountry fishing with you. Over the course of 5 hours, we will stalk the beaches, push-pole the flats and hone our casting in the mangrove islands, sight casting artificial baits on Blackbeards Fury, an 18' shallow skiff in pursuit of snook, redfish, trout, and tarpon.
Tackle/licensing/ice water provided for 3. Catch & release or the captain can fillet and bag your catch the day. Ask about tailored trips in your favorite SWFL area.
