In addition to our quoted hourly rate, all charters are subject to an additional manditory 11% Port and Marina fee which is collected directly by us and is due and payable no less than 7 days prior to your charter date.

Romancing the Wind is San Diego’s Premier Luxury Sailing Yacht! Our pricing reflects the exceptional quality, service, and safety provided to all our guest clients. Our deck layout is spacious and comfortable with high rigid rails providing guests with 360 degree access around the entire vessel along with plenty of seating for all!
We are the perfect entertaining venue for groups up to 30 passengers!* We specialize in Corporate Events, Family Reunions, Birthdays, Bachelor/Bachelorette Parties, Graduations, Memorials, and much more.
We have a fantastic sound system featuring a Fusion Apollo MS-RA 670 Bluetooth reciever, Fusion Signature SG-DA 41400 amplifier, and Polk Atrium 8 speakers. Our premium sound system plays music from any smart device.
Seasonal 3 & 4 hour swim packages are currently available, ask for details!
Food & Beverages:
Let us do all the work! We offer a wide variety of Catering Menu’s from local restaraunts, deli’s and caterers. Full bar service is available offering top shelf cocktails, premium beers, wines, and hard seltzers. All bar packages are customizable and all are at reasonable pricing! If you prefer to BYO there is an additional fee and we provide all the Ice and coolers. Some restrictions apply, ask for details!

We are a Professional Charter Vessel LLC. Our sailing yacht, Romancing The Wind, along with our crews, provide a safe and comfortable cruising experience on the water. We are a USCG Documented & Inspected Vessel and we are an authorized Charter Operator by the Port of San Diego. Our vessel is Commanded by a USCG licensed Master Captain accompanied by a knowledgeable and experienced crew!
Once booked, our office staff will provide you with additional information and assist you in planning your day with us! We require a credit card to be placed on file to serve as a security deposit and to collect the required Port and Marina fees, and any optional purchases.
Tipping:
It is customary to tip the crew for a job well done! Industry standard tipping is 15% to 20% of the total charter price, including any additional purchases.
* Groups up to 35 passengers may be accomodated upon request and approval by management. Restrictions and additional fees apply.

This boat belongs to a Commercial Owner, an independent boat rental company. A Commercial Owner is an independent, Boatsetter-approved boat rental company who provides their own insurance to their guests.
Security deposit
A security deposit hold (not a charge) will be placed on your credit card 48 hours before your booking starts to cover any incidental damage that may occur during your rental. This hold is released 48 hours after the booking is complete, if no claims are made. The security deposit amount for the boat you are booking will be outlined during the check-out process.
