This Hunter is "bigger on the inside", light and comfortable--meaning significantly better than a tent. She handles well, but tender. The step-through transom is great for swimming. And, as far as I know, she's the only charter sailboat in the Inland Empire.

This boat is part of a fleet managed by 21st Century Tall Ships, a community service organization training future crew members to serve in the South Seas on very large sailing yachts engaged in humanitarian support missions. Step one is to impart sailing skills as well as to develop leadership and teamwork within the Inland Northwest. Step two is a two week circumnaviation of Vancourver Island testing the crew's offshore passagemaking skills and temperament. Step three is to island hop during natural disasters, providing shelter and medical aid and transportation to residents in peril.
