IMPORTANT: Captain Fees for Groups Over 6

Per U.S. Coast Guard regulations, if your group has more than 6 passengers, this will be a bareboat charter, meaning you’ll be renting this vessel and if you’re not qualified to operate this vessel or prefer to relax, you’ll need to hire a professional captain separately.



Please note: The “Captain’s Price” shown on this site is just an estimate – we cannot set or collect this fee. It is not included in your booking.



Once you book the boat, I’ll provide a list of pre-screened, qualified captains (with contact info) so you can choose who you’d like to work with.



Based on past trips, the captain's fee typically runs around $10–$11 per person, per hour for groups of 12—but again, this is just a ballpark.



You and the captain will handle payment and arrangements directly, as required by law.



Taxes are already included. The only other cost would be gratuity for your captain, which is always appreciated.
