2016 Bennington pontoon in great condition. There is some wear, but very clean and comfortable. With 90 HP, it can hold 10 people or 1370 pounds. It has 3 sofas for lounging with a back sun deck.
The sun deck pops up to become a changing station with a privacy curtain. There is a portable toilet located there as well.
See all of the sights on the Potomac and Anacostia Rivers. We include life jackets, cooler, depth finder, stereo and bimini top. We even throw in ice and water! You just bring a towel! The stereo is new and has Bluetooth, auxiliary or 3mm connections. The floating toys are available by request. Just ask that they be included when you request to book.
There is a built-in cooler under the right front seat. It's enough for about 12 bottles of water and ice. We will stock that for you prior to your rental. Bring your own cooler if you would like to keep other items cool. Or, request that we not include the water/ice.
Note that this is a 90 HP engine with a 24 foot boat. So, if speed is your thing, this is not it! It's just great for cruising, sightseeing, and swimming.
The boat dropoff and pick-up will be set with your captain.
We do not charge a cleaning fee, and we appreciate you returning it as clean as possible. Minor messes are ok. We will take care of the trash and recycling.

Growing up, my grandparents owned a lake house in NC with a jet ski, powerboat and a houseboat. I operated all of them each summer from the time I was 10. After I went off to college, I would occasionally return with friends and use the boats . I have docked it at fuel stations, shorelines and docks. Further, the house had a fairly complicated garage system in that the boat needed to be pulled into a trolley, secured and then towed up to the garage. I've never harmed any of the craft in any way. I've also pulled skiers and tubers. I am very comfortable operating power boats.
Additionally, I grew up in a town with a large lake. Close friends owned boats which we all operated on the weekends each summer.
Finally, I have passed my boater exam and have my certificate.

Security deposit
A security deposit hold (not a charge) will be placed on your credit card 48 hours before your booking starts to cover any incidental damage that may occur during your rental. This hold is released 48 hours after the booking is complete, if no claims are made. The security deposit amount for the boat you are booking will be outlined during the check-out process.
