Cénou is catamaran offering stable sailing. Because of its weight, design and sail plan it can sail in the lighter, more pleasant conditions. With a secure cockpit and a large bow net that spans the entire boat there are plenty of places to lounge on.
Get on board for a few days or a week and sail to Block Island, Cuttyhunk, Martha's Vineyard (contact us about the one way option). Enjoy just a sunset cruise or a couple of days of cruising around the protected water of Narragansett Bay.
Cénou is a Soubise 46, a comfortable performance cruiser whose sister ship finished third overall in the Quebec to St Malo against open 50's. Cénou is not as fast, but is a very capable light air boat with ample power to make sailing enjoyable and comfortable in all conditions.
Cénou is 46 feet long and 26 feet wide. That gives you over a thousand square feet of usable space on the water!
Inside guests have their own hull which provides privacy with two guest bedrooms and one and a half bathrooms with a full size, separate shower. One bedroom has a double bed, another has a small double and a single. Ideal for two couples or a family of four.
The spacious cockpit accommodates six people or more in well ventilated shade. Walking on the wide and clear decks to the foredeck, you will get to a large net suspended over the water between the two bows. It is a great place to hang out.
Sailing is weather dependent, but if you let your skipper help you choose destinations based on your preferences, he will do his best to get you to a nice anchorage using the sails rather than the engines.
Unlike most mono-hulls who need at least 10 knots of wind to get moving, we can sail faster than the wind and will sail in as low as five knots of wind (depending on wind angle and sea conditions).
Great time. Very responsive, loves sailing, respectful. Would recommend to anyone.
This was my first Boatsetter experience and I am so happy with how everything turned out! I visited Newport for the weekend to celebrate my birthday with a few friends and wanted to do something special.
Right off the bat, Claude was very helpful and quick to respond when asking how Boatsetter worked, what to expect and if there was anything I needed to do on my end.
Although the weather was not the best, it did not take away from this amazing experience. The boat was extremely comfortable and Claude was a great captain!
We will definitely be sailing again with him soon. Thank you!!
