You are your own captain on this easy to navigate electric boat. Before you depart, your host will provide a detailed map of MDR, explain the boundaries and popular routes, and cover how to operate the boat. Duffy boats reach a cruising speed equivalent to 5 miles an hour and these boats are often compared to driving a golf cart. It's as easy as that!

This is our first Winter back in Marina Del Rey and it's going to be amazing. Prior to leaving Los Angeles, we were nominated the Best Duffy Rental in MDR 3 years in a row! Let us know how we can help customize your experience.

~ Weekday or 10 AM Rides -> 1.5 Hour Minimum
Weekend Rides -> 2.5 Hour Minimum

~ You must be 21 years old to rent a Duffy Boat and have a valid driver's license.

~ Dock at waterfront restaurants | Bring your own snacks + drinks | Order ahead to have your charcuterie platter waiting when you arrive

~ Life Vests for passengers of all ages, shapes, and sizes (including little itty bitty babies!)

~ We're pet friendly! We always encourage guests to bring along their four legged friend. Though, due to space constraints, pets 15 lb+ will take the place of 1 of your 12 guests.

  • 50% refund for cancellations between 3-5 days before the booking start time.

A security deposit hold (not a charge) will be placed on your credit card 48 hours before your booking starts to cover any incidental damage that may occur during your rental. This hold is released 48 hours after the booking is complete, if no claims are made. The security deposit amount for the boat you are booking will be outlined during the check-out process.

If requested, the owner can provide a list of available captains for bareboat charter or the renter can use their own qualified captain. If the boat is being time chartered, the owner will provide the Captain.
