Enjoy the beautiful emerald waters of the Gulf Coast on the "muscle car" of bowriders! <br/> <br/>The Glastron GT225 is a fast and nimble bowrider with aggressive interior and exterior styling that allows you to enjoy the water with style, safety, and ease. <br/><br/>**Owner Pays for Fuel** <br/>With a 35-gallon tank full of marine-grade gasoline, you'll be able to spend the day out on the water with the comfort of knowing there is ample fuel to make it back to the dock. <br/> <br/>She comes equipped with an inboard 220hp MerCruiser 5.0 TKS V8 engine paired with a Mercury Alpha 1 Gen 2 outdrive that is raring to get up on plane and glide across the water. <br/> <br/>At 22.5 feet long, she is capable of providing enjoyment for up to 7 passengers (with gear) while also providing stability in choppy or rough water. <br/> <br/>The GT225 comes with a 2 foot swim deck and swim ladder which make getting in and out of the water safe and easy. <br/> <br/>Above the swim deck on the transom, you will find a tie down that can be used to anchor a rope for pulling inflatables, skis, and/or wakeboards. With proper handling, the boat is able to get into the 40s (mph) which make using towables fast, fun, and exciting. <br/> <br/>You will find a radio in the port side glovebox which is Bluetooth enabled and provides an aux cord connection as well so that you can crank up the tunes from whatever device you choose. <br/> <br/>The boat is equipped with a Garmin ECHOMAP Plus 44cv. With this, you can plot a course for excitement using the GPS map feature and always feel safe knowing the depth of the water you are in. <br/> <br/>A collapsible bimini cover allows you to decide if you want to cruise with the top up for protection from the sun or down because the "go fast" demands it. <br/> <br/>*********BOOKING DETAILS********* <br/>******Towing, Trailering, and Transportation <br/>This boat is trailered and sits on top of a 2023 Rocket Aluminum trailer. The trailer electronics require a 5-pin flat connector. The boat (with a full tank of marine grade gas) and trailer weigh approximately 5000lbs. <br/> <br/>***Owner Tow <br/>If you would like to rent this boat but are unable to trailer it yourself, we can provide transportation of the boat to the boat ramp of your choice. <br/>OUR preferred boat ramps are: <br/>* Bayou Texar <br/>* Mahogany Mill <br/> <br/>We will launch the boat and get it ready for use. At the end of your trip, we will load the boat. <br/> <br/>The start of the booking time is when you arrive at the dock. <br/>The end of the booking time is when the boat returns to the dock. <br/>Example: <br/>You book for 4 hours starting at 9am. <br/>You arrive at the agreed upon boat ramp at 9am. <br/>The boat returns to the boat ramp at 1pm. <br/> <br/>THERE IS A FEE FOR US TRANSPORTING THE BOAT. THE FEE VARIES DEPENDING ON LOCATION OF BOAT RAMP THE RENTER WISHES TO USE. <br/> <br/>***Customer Tow <br/>If you are planning to trailer this boat, you will need a vehicle that is capable of pulling the gross weight of the boat and trailer safely. You are free to launch from the boat ramp of your choice. <br/> <br/>The start of the booking time is when you arrive to pick up the boat. <br/>The end of the booking time is when the boat must be returned to us. <br/>Example: <br/>You book for 4 hours starting at 9am. <br/>You pick up the boat at 9am. <br/>You have the boat back to us at 1pm. <br/> <br/>We will ask that towing vehicle information and pictures of the trailer hitch and trailer electronics connector are provided so we may ensure the safety of you, your vehicle, the trailer, and the boat. <br/> <br/>If it is determined that your vehicle is not suitable for safely towing the trailer and boat, you have the option of adding the transportation fee to your booking. <br/> <br/> <br/>******Safety and USCG Compliance <br/>This boat has all of the safety items necessary to be compliant with USCG regulations. Some of these items include: <br/>* Personal Flotation Devices (Adult Size) <br/>* Throwable Flotation Device <br/>* Signaling items (flags, flares, airhorn, etc.) <br/>* First Aid Kit <br/> <br/>You will be briefed on the location of all safety items when you pick up the boat or when you arrive at the boat ramp. <br/> <br/>Please be advised that this boat is rated for a TOTAL WEIGHT CAPACITY of 1475lbs. That is the total weight of passengers and gear. Exceeding this limit puts you, your guests, and the boat in danger. <br/> <br/>YOU WILL NEED TO PROVIDE PFD (PERSONAL FLOTATION DEVICE) FOR SMALL CHILDREN <br/> <br/>******No Captain Option <br/>Renters must have a Boating Safety Card to operate in Florida waters. <br/> <br/>******Captain Option <br/>If you would like to enjoy your time on the water with friends and family and not have to be bothered with the details of piloting the boat yourself, you can choose the "Captained" booking option. <br/> <br/>With this option, you will meet us at the agreed upon boat ramp and we will take care of the rest. We will pilot the boat and ensure everyone has a wonderful, and safe, time on the water.
