Our goal is to provide genuine, fun, and peaceful interactions among your family, friends, or your innerself. We will tailor the experience to each group based on your goals for the day. Relax in the slip deck, work remotely in peace, cruise up the Chicago River admiring the architecture, boat across Lake Michigan for a fun day in Traverse City or South Haven, whatever your group members’ hearts desire.
Excelling in Excellence was founded in 2020 with the mission of redefining boating so that a plethora of individuals, regardless of race, class, and ethnicity can experience their love of the water.
Opening the doors of boating for everyone is the owner and CEO, Lindsey Robinson. Lindsey has always been in love with the water. Since the age of three, she has been engaging with water activities and has never looked back. From lifeguarding to jet skiing to swimming on the swim team, enjoying aquatics has always provided her with the love and excitement of life.
Lindsey is a lifelong educator and currently supports the education of thousands of children. She is a national award-winning school leader and is so excited to bring her leadership skills into another industry. Leadership skills transcend all industries and getting involved in the charter boating world is another endeavor that she is ready to excel in.

- Free cancellations until 24 hours before the booking start time.
- Cancellations within 24 hours of the booking start time are non-refundable.
Security deposit
A security deposit hold (not a charge) will be placed on your credit card 48 hours before your booking starts to cover any incidental damage that may occur during your rental. This hold is released 48 hours after the booking is complete, if no claims are made. The security deposit amount for the boat you are booking will be outlined during the check-out process.

If requested, the owner can provide a list of available captains for bareboat charter or the renter can use their own qualified captain. If the boat is being time chartered, the owner will provide the Captain.
