The boat

The 40.1 is, perhaps, the “sweet spot” of the current Oceanis line. In many ways, a scaled down version of it’s big sister, the 51.1, this 40-foot cruiser, offers unrivalled deck volume and interior space, and there are no concessions to performance. It offers comfort and pleasure under sail, with plenty of room on and below deck to relax after sailing.



She was Sail Magazine's 'Best Monohull Cruising Boat Under 50ft' for 2021! They called it a “true sailor’s boat”.

Enjoy a private yacht charter on this great boat, with a USCG Licensed, Experienced Captain and sailing tour of San Francisco Bay.



Our route will depend on weather, tidal currents and your desires, but includes views of the Bay and Golden Gate bridges, San Francisco Waterfront, Alcatraz and more.



Water, soft drinks and light snacks complimentary.

You may bring appropriate food and beverage of your choosing, though no red-wine, please.



An approved captain is required. The fee - paid separately - is usually $350-$450 for a 4 hour sail.



The capacity of the boat allows up to 8 guests. A $100 fee is charged to provide a bareboat rental agreement to conform with Federal regulations and the appropriate insurance to protect you and your guests.

This boat belongs to a Commercial Owner, an independent boat rental company. A Commercial Owner is an independent, Boatsetter-approved boat rental company who provides their own insurance to their guests.

A security deposit hold (not a charge) will be placed on your credit card 48 hours before your booking starts to cover any incidental damage that may occur during your rental. This hold is released 48 hours after the booking is complete, if no claims are made. The security deposit amount for the boat you are booking will be outlined during the check-out process.
