**New listing! Please see my other boat for my 5 star reviews (Triumph 190 Bay)**
Many people visiting our area think center console boats are just for fishing... but they are the BEST way to cruise the area, island hop, explore hidden beaches and see the sights! And yes fish....
Want to go and explore Masonboro island or the various small islands in the Cape Fear river? Or take a ride up the river to downtown Wilmington water front? Or simply cruise the water ways and look at the sights and possibly catch a glimpse of a dolphin? Our Carolina Skiff 198 Elite does it all!
Our 20' center console is powered by a very low hour quiet Yamaha 115hp 4-stroke outboard (4-strokes are smokeless/stink-less). It is very easy to maneuver making your day out on the water easy and low stress.
Whether you are spending the day exploring the area, island hopping, cruising or fishing you have excellent visibility with the center console.
Two large storage areas in the front deck give you plenty of room for your belongings. There is cushioned seating for 6 and plenty of room for more seating up on the front deck behind the bow railing (kids LOVE to sit up there).
Just installed is a Simrad GO9 XSE 9" touchscreen GPS chartplotter/depth sounder. It is very easy to use (layout is similar to a phone) and has the upgraded Navionics charts. And if your fishing it has the upgraded 3in1 transducer which gives you CHRIP, downscan and sidescan imaging.
There is also a new Fusion Bluetooth/AM/FM stereo system with JL-Audio/Polk speakers.
All required safety equipment is included (10 adult life jackets, fire extinguisher etc). If you need child size life jackets please ask before rental as we only have a few. The 198 is rated for 10 people or a max of 1400lbs (1400lbs combined weight of people/gear/coolers/etc).
It is an 8' wide boat - so there is plenty of room to move around on it. There is a rear swim platform with a 3 step ladder to make boarding in deep water easy.
Boat rents from Carolina Beach boat ramps. I do have a trailer for it so if you are an experienced boater you can trailer it to different local ramps if desired.
Please ask if any questions! THANK YOU!!
