The 212X is powered by two high-performance, four-cylinder, 1812cc Yamaha marine engines (total of 360HP). The engines are connected directly to twin jet pumps with three-bladed stainless steel impellers. No propellers to worry about; an added safety factor of not having a spinning propeller under the swim platform. But if you suck a rope into the impellers expect to spend 60-80 minutes cutting it out; vigilant rope control is essential.
Top speed for this Yamaha 212X is about 50mph on a calm day.

Trust me, there is room for it all and your food, drinks and people.
Please note that the boat is rarely available M-F due to my travel schedule.
Fuel is and additional cost to renter. The boat will come with the full 50 gallons of premium fuel. This boat is very fuel efficient and it is very difficult (not impossible if tubing all day - "Kristin Group" disclaimer :) ) to run tank low during even a typical 8 hr day. I fill it before and after every rental from the same 91 octane zero ethanol pump. Following your rental I provide the receipt to Boatsetter and the charge goes through.
Remember, if you want to wakeboard, kneeboard or ski, earlier is better to avoid traffic and get that glass.
I will deliver the boat to the water and have it ready for use at the agreed upon time. For Coralville, I prefer Mehaffy Boat ramp (Mehaffey Bridge Rd NE, North Liberty, IA 52317), but any of ramps are ok. Daily parking is free on in the car parking across the road (you will get a ticket if you park in trailer parking). In Cedar Rapids I put it in at Ellis Park. Lake Delhi I use Turtle Creek West ramp.
Rental time: the normal BoatSetter rental period 8 hours. Time always ends no later than one hour after dusk. Additional time, either agreed to or due to lateness, will be charged as per BoatSetter policies; which appear to be 0$. First-time renters should expect to spend 30-60 minutes upon launch for boat familiarization and driving tutorial with me. Remind me when booking, we want to start the rental time in website at least an hour after true desired start time. Start time on app when checking in is way more flexible than the 1 hour end time.
This is a jet boat and it behaves differently than typical boats, especially at low/docking speeds. The thrust vectors I added have helped tremendously; it now behaves very similar to stern drive boats.
Only renters with previous experience on this boat will be allowed to rent bareboat and trailer. If so
The total tow weight is about 4800lbs and requires a 2" ball.
