The boat
This boat is a 19ft Yamaha jet / ski boat with trailer and is equipped nicely with Bluetooth/CD player and 4 speakers, numerous cup holders for the passengers, and plenty of storage room for the coolers and towels. It has a Bimini top for shade from the sun (with attachment for your skis / boards) and can be left up while cruising the lake!
We will have some life jackets on board, but you may have to bring your own just in case they don’t fit. There is a fire extinguisher and buoys on board with ropes to tie off to some friends and enjoy some swimming off the back of the boat!
It’s works very well in shallow water for access to docks or fishing, but is best for water sports such as swimming, tubing and skiing. This boat will seat 4-5 passengers comfortably but has seating for up to 8. The boat has a depth finder included on the dash and a pivoting captain chair.
Fuel will be reimbursed following completion of the rental based on the amount used when checking in. Fuel cost changes, but is usually between $3/gal to $3.40/gal.
Night rental is not available and boat is not suitable for nighttime use.
Beverages and snacks may be brought aboard in a cooler, but must not be glass (alcohol is allowed). You will be responsible for picking up trash or messes while on board. (If necessary, a cleaning fee may be applied if the boat is left in a dirty condition).
Boating while intoxicated (alcohol or drugs) will not be tolerated and the deposit will be forfeited if you operate the boat illegally under the influence (can include additional fees as well). This is our family boat so we expect it to be treated with care as we would. Please ask any questions you may have before booking. I will be able to meet at a local boat launch as this is kept at my home.
Operator/renter must be 21 yrs old with all appropriate licenses and insurance prior to taking possession of the boat. Renter must follow all rules of the agreements. Owner is not responsible for damage or accidents caused due to the error/negligence of the renter. Pictures will be taken before renting and after the boat is returned for your safety and ours. This boat will be available for a minimum of 2 hours, hourly rate after that, or daily rate. Longer times or multiple days may be an options as well - just let us know.
*Insurance Purposes*
The renter must also carry an insurance policy prior to rental.
Should damage/accident occur while out on our boat, the renter will be liable for the amount up to $7500 in insurance deductibles due to the policy held on peer-to-peer rentals.
Note - We deliver the boat to Greers Ferry Lake at the Choctaw Marina for $25, there would be an additional charge if the renter wants the boat for other locations. Fees range from $25-$125 depending on distances delivered.

Security deposit
A security deposit hold (not a charge) will be placed on your credit card 48 hours before your booking starts to cover any incidental damage that may occur during your rental. This hold is released 48 hours after the booking is complete, if no claims are made. The security deposit amount for the boat you are booking will be outlined during the check-out process.
