2021 Axopar Adventure Charter Appomattox and James River

Come explore the James River on a captained charter in a brand new Axopar 28 Cabin. Our cabin is fully weather proof and heated to get you out on the water in comfort year round. Beautiful sunsets, Bald Eagles and 360 degree views of nature await. 4 guests can be seated inside the cabin with a total number of guests not to exceed 6. You will depart a private floating dock slip with very easy entry and exit into and out of the boat. The boat is located on the Appomattox River just 3 miles from the expansive confluence of the James River.



From the dock you can cruise out of the James River headed East past old plantation homes and usually watch bald eagles, occasionally Sturgeon jumping and almost guarantee several species of diving ducks. Another route would be to follow the river North towards the City of Richmond where we would pass the Lilly Pad restaurant (15 miles from home port) which has excellent food and drinks. Rockets Landing is a farther cruise (26 miles from home port) North and has the Boathouse Restaurant and The Island Shrimp Company for dining and drink options.



Probably the best thing about our boat service is we don't do cookie cutter trips. Every trip is personalized to who and what is important to you. Being this boat is ran as a bareboat/demise charter, where the voyage and activities are decided by you. The guide/captain you select and our team, with our expert knowledge of area will show you the destinations/activities most sought after based on your dream day. We will provide a list of recommended captains you get to choose from, or if you so wish, you have the option to hire a captain of your choosing from another source as long as they meet the standards we require to operate our vessels.
