The Catalac 8m catamaran is famous world-wide as one of the sturdiest, most stable cats afloat. Built to Lloyd's specs, over 600 of these yachts were built in ChristChurch, England and ventured far and wide, this one making the trip across the pond on it's own bottom. The predecessor of the Gemini range of catamarans (best sailing catamaran ever) this yacht is equipped with full galley, head and is the perfect boat for two, but can also handle two additional guests overnight in on two settees. As a daysailer, the yacht is extremely spacious for it's size, and with it's wide beam (13.5 ft) can easily manage 6. With a shallow draft of 2 ft 9 inches you can venture anywhere in Biscayne Bay and stay safe and secure, and is a wonderful yacht for overnighting at Elliott Key, a favorite destination.
