The boat

Jericho is a classic Maine coastal pleasure and picnic boat. Built in 1956 by the famous Raymond Bunker and Ralph Ellis, Jericho is widely considered to be the crown jewel of pleasure cruisers in the Mount Desert Island area.

PLEASE NOTE OUR BOOKING POLICIES:
1) The "4-hour" option is an Evening charter and can ONLY be used at 4:30pm or later.

2) The "6-hour" option is the Day charter, start time is flexible. Please note that Day charters must return by 4pm.

3) You must have a USGC 100-ton license to operate the boat. If you do not, we will happily provide a list of qualified captains (who you pay separately).


Jericho is a perfect boat for exploring the area's islands, swimming in the pristine waters off Mount Desert Island, have picnics or go for cocktail cruises.

Jericho has an open bridge with windshield and a canvas cover to shelter for rain and sun. Jericho was named for the bay which lies between Isle au Haut and Mount Desert Island.

This boat belongs to a Commercial Owner, an independent boat rental company. A Commercial Owner is an independent, Boatsetter-approved boat rental company who provides their own insurance to their guests.

A security deposit hold (not a charge) will be placed on your credit card 48 hours before your booking starts to cover any incidental damage that may occur during your rental. This hold is released 48 hours after the booking is complete, if no claims are made. The security deposit amount for the boat you are booking will be outlined during the check-out process.
